This event will focus on the following:

Opposition. Lack of buy-in. Being under-resourced and overworked. These are just a few of the unique challenges faced by those working within the intersectional areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, access, and belonging. These and other challenges are leading to compounding stress and burnout for DEI practitioners and a real need for practitioners to invest in their self-care.

Join local resilience coach and wellness expert, Maria Serbus, on Friday, October 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s – Cascade Meadows (Room 100) for a retreat that will focus on equipping DEI practitioners with practical tools to manage stress and invest in their overall wellness through practices focused on mindfulness, self-love, restoration, and healing.

There is no cost for attendance, but pre-registration is required to secure your spot. Please use the link  below to secure your FREE ticket. https://rochesteraf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create?event_date_id=2122

Light refreshments will be served. After the session, there will be an optional lunch and networking hour from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. for practitioners to continue to build community together.
