Angry Black Woman and Well-Intentioned White Girl is Amoke Kubat's vision for creating a safe public place for expressing the daily “unsaids” between black and white women. The accusations and silences reflect our mis-education about each other, the superficial and deep conflicts around our womanhood, ethnicities, rights, power, and constant juxtaposition of roles in the politics of white male patriarchy. Through storytelling and
audience participation, this non-traditional work reflects Kubat's journey through the landscape of Minnesota Nice, gentrification of North Minneapolis; work spaces, and those awkward inter-racial intersections with white women.
